If you are no stranger to chronic bloating, constipation and stomach cramps, you may be suffering from Irritable Bowel Syndrome, IBS. Medical research reveals a number of causes such as caffeine/sugar addiction, alcohol abuse as well as stress and anxiety trigger IBS. In my extensive experience successfully helping many suffering from IBS heal, I found that IBS is more often than not a physical illness which stems from unresolved emotional issues. I’ve realised that most of my clients who suffer from IBS are victims of mental distress, anxiety, worry or unresolved earlier emotional abuse. If you are one of them, please understand that you are powerful enough to heal your emotional wounds. As my long list of clients who recovered from their illnesses demonstrates, once your mind is healed, the physical manifestation of the syndrome disappears.
As a child, Neathen was under constant pressure to perform well academically and be the first in his class. He feared to disappoint his mother and as a result he could never relax. It was a constant battle to finish his homework, study for tests and do better than anyone else. But, no matter how hard he worked, there was always someone who was better than him. He had to endure being compared to his peers and even bear with being punished unfairly. Years of such conditioning wired his mind to never relax until he took care of all his work. He felt insecure and incomplete unless he had completed all his responsibilities. Subconsciously, this emotional state manifested itself as a constant need to completely empty his bowels. His internalized childhood trauma was externalized through IBS.
Neathen was constantly obsessed with the task of emptying his bowels. Distracted by his bloated stomach and the thought of never being able to completely empty his bowels, he could not concentrate on anything else. IBS symptoms such as chronic stomach cramps, constipation and bloating, mirror the symptoms of colitis or even peptic ulcers. Hence Neathen sought medical help but nothing seemed to work. In hope of finding a solution, he turned to other treatment options for IBS like psychotherapy, hypnotherapy and energy healing before consulting me. However, his discomfort and preoccupation with his bowel movement continued.
During my sessions with Neathen, we discovered that his anxiety to perform well academically and his fear of disappointing his mother were the main triggers of his illness. As a child, unless he came in top of his class, Neathen was reluctant to even go home. Underlying extreme stress can also cause eating disorders in addition to other physical distress. This certainly was true in Neathen’s case. He was addicted to sugar. His fear of failure was causing him much anxiety and prompting him to seek comfort in consuming copious amounts of sweets. Excessive sugar intake aggravated his IBS.
I used my holistic healing approach of combining mind reprogramming, hypnos-psychotherapy to help Neathen work through his root causes for anxiety, inability to relax, stress and addiction to sugar. Through rebuilding his self-esteem, self-confidence, self-worth and self-belief, he was able to trust in his own ability to cope well with life’s challenges unhindered by fear of failure.
Once he managed to turn around his emotional status and reach beyond the mind’s limitations, his physical symptoms disappeared entirely. It only took Neathen 5 sessions to heal from his chronic IBS. During this time, he was able to gain confidence and restore his mental and physical wellbeing. I was happy to be able to provide him with tools to manage psychological stresses more effectively.
- Cramps that seem to get worse after eating
- Stomach constantly bloated
- Diarrhea, constipation
If you like Neathen experience a mix of the symptoms, you probably suffer from IBS. Whilst there is no permanent cure for IBS medically, treating the underlying root causes of the problem such as anxiety, emotional trauma and depression along with dietary changes can lead to rapid healing from IBS. I’ve helped a large number of people recover completely from IBS permanently.
If you wish to receive professional help in overcoming your IBS, I would be happy to help you.
You don’t need to spend years in therapy. My clients generally report instant changes after each holistic healing or hypos-psychotherapy session and go on to recover permanently from IBS.
